Do I need to be an experienced swimmer to start?
Not at all. The Fear-to-Finish program is specifically designed for people who are afraid of open water or have limited swim experience. Marlon's Navy SAR background makes him uniquely qualified to work with anxiety, fear, and beginner swimmers.
Do you coach remotely?
Yes. Triathlon coaching and leadership coaching are both available virtually for clients outside of Los Angeles. Open water swim coaching is in-person at Zuma Beach and Malibu area locations.
Can coaching be done in Spanish?
Yes. Marlon is fully bilingual and offers all coaching and consulting services in both English and Spanish. This is a core part of the Marl.On.1 identity.
What's the minimum commitment?
Coaching engagements start at 3 months. Most clients choose 6 or 12-month programs for meaningful transformation. Single workshops and speaking engagements are also available for organizations.
What makes Marl.On.1 different from other coaches?
Very few coaches have a Navy SAR background, a psychology degree, 15+ years of healthcare leadership, 20+ years of martial arts, and firsthand experience with the sport they coach. Marlon brings the whole person to every coaching relationship.
Do you work with organizations and teams?
Yes. Organizational consulting, movement workshops, and keynote speaking are all available for healthcare organizations, corporate teams, and endurance communities. Contact Marlon to discuss scope and pricing.
